Three Family Members Die in Muadzam Shah House Fire

Tragedy struck in Muadzam Shah, Malaysia, as a fire engulfed a wooden house, claiming the lives of three family members. The blaze, which occurred in Lorong Sekolah Kanan 2A, Desa Mawar 2, Muadzam Shah, completely destroyed the structure.

According to district police chief Superintendent Sharif Shai Sharif Mondoi, the victims were identified as Mohd Kahurolaizam Mokhtar, 42; his wife, Siti Zaleha Aluha, 31; and their four-year-old son, Muhamad Putra Rayqal. Police received the report of the fire at approximately 4:17 AM and arrived at the scene shortly after. The adult male victim was found unconscious in a drain in front of the house and was pronounced dead by medical officers from Muadzam Shah Hospital.

Further inspection by firefighters revealed the bodies of the other two victims, the mother and son, charred in a corner of the burnt room. Fortunately, two other children from the same family, aged 10 and 16, managed to escape the fire without any injuries. The adjacent house was also affected by the fire, but its seven occupants, including the owner Ahmad Fauzi Ismail, 35, his wife, and their four children, were all safe.

The fire was completely extinguished by 5:05 AM. The bodies of the deceased were transported to Muadzam Shah Hospital for further procedures. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
