Three Sisters Killed in Kano Boat Accident

Three sisters died Saturday afternoon when a boat capsized at Tiga Dam in Kano State, according to local government chairperson Sa’adatu Salisu.

The victims were identified as Murjanatu, Atika and Bilkisu, who came from Yalwan Rugu-Rugu village in the Tudunwada Local Government Area. Salisu said the incident occurred at about 2 p.m. She offered condolences to the family and community and prayed for strength for those mourning.
