Tinubu has put me in charge of Abia APC – Orji Kalu

President Bola Tinubu has entrusted me, Senator Orji Kalu, with a significant mandate: to coordinate the activities of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Abia State. This directive, received during a recent meeting with His Excellency at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, reflects the President's confidence in my leadership and commitment to strengthening our party's base in the South-East.

As the most senior governor in Abia State and chairman of the Senate Committee on the South East Development Commission, I am deeply honored by this responsibility. I understand the strategic importance of this role, especially as the APC intensifies efforts to deepen its foothold in regions where we have historically faced strong opposition. My priority will be to foster party cohesion, engage all stakeholders, and ensure we are electorally ready for future contests. We aim to present candidates who are widely acceptable and united in purpose, capable of securing victory for the President's re-election and advancing the best interests of Abia State and Nigeria.
