Un TIR şi un autoturism au fost implicate, sâmbătă dimineaţă, 9 mai, într-un accident rutier produs pe DN 66, în localitatea Ţânţăreni, judeţul Gorj. Primele informaţii arată că unul dintre şoferi a murit, celălalt fiind grav rănit.

According to information from the Gorj County Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU Gorj), the impact caused the semi-truck to overturn, completely blocking both lanes of the DN 66. Firefighters and SMURD (Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication) teams were dispatched to the scene. They worked to extricate the truck driver, who was trapped in the wreckage. Despite their best efforts, the driver could not be saved and was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the car, who suffered multiple injuries, was stabilized by medical teams and transported to the hospital for further treatment.
