Suri Cruise, the daughter of Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has officially changed her surname, dropping her father's last name. The change was formally registered in Pennsylvania, where Suri is currently pursuing her studies.

Reports from publications like "Page Six" and "Entertainment Weekly" confirm that Suri, who had already been using Suri Noelle while graduating from LaGuardia High School in 2024, has now made the surname change official. This decision echoes similar actions taken by the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, including their daughters Vivienne and Shiloh, who have also publicly distanced themselves from their father's surname.

Suri, now a third-year student at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, was born in April 2006, shortly after her parents' marriage in 2006. The couple divorced in 2012. It is widely believed that Suri and her father have been estranged for many years. Tom Cruise has not been seen publicly with his daughter since their separation, and he reportedly did not attend her high school graduation ceremony.
