Tourism for All 2026: Who Can Apply Today

Greek citizens can now begin applying for the "Tourism for All 2026-2027" program, a government initiative aimed at subsidizing domestic travel. The application window opens on Sunday, August 9th, for individuals whose tax identification numbers (AFM) end in 9 or 0. Starting Monday, August 10th, and continuing until August 21st at 23:59:59, citizens with any AFM ending digit can submit their applications.

Applications can be submitted electronically through the dedicated platform, vouchers.gov.gr/tourism4all-2026-2027, using Taxisnet credentials. Alternatively, applicants can visit any Citizen Service Center (KEP) for in-person assistance. The Ministry of Tourism has broadened the income eligibility criteria for the program, allowing more households, including middle-class families, to participate. For example, the income ceiling for married couples without children has been raised to 33,000 euros from the previous 31,000 euros.

A key focus of the revamped program is to encourage tourism outside the peak season. Approximately 70% of the total budget is designated for travel occurring between October and April. Higher subsidies are offered during the winter and shoulder months, aligning with the Ministry of Tourism's strategy for sustainable and balanced tourism development. This approach aims to spread visitor numbers throughout the year and across different regions, thereby enhancing regional and social cohesion.

The application process is staggered based on the last digit of the AFM: August 5th for numbers ending in 1 and 2; August 6th for 3 and 4; August 7th for 5 and 6; August 8th for 7 and 8; and August 9th for 9 and 0. From August 10th to August 21st, applications are open regardless of the AFM's final digit. The deadline for all applications is Friday, August 21, 2026, at 23:59.
