Traffic Halted in Kaunas After Discovery of Wartime Explosives

The Kaunas Main Police Commissariat announced that vehicle traffic would be restricted to ensure the safety of residents and road users.

The affected areas include the stretch from Chemijos Street to the Ateities Avenue roundabout, and from Chemijos Street to the intersection with Abrikosų Street. In response to the discovery of the unidentified ordnance, authorities have implemented the "Skydas" plan, a protocol typically used for handling potentially hazardous situations involving explosives.
