TRC Synergy apologizes for concrete spill at LRT Ara Damansara site

TRC Synergy Berhad has taken full responsibility for a concrete spill that occurred at its Light Rail Transit (LRT) Ara Damansara construction site. The incident, which happened around 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, involved a concrete bucket tipping over during a concreting operation at Block 6. The spill resulted in wet concrete falling onto a pedestrian walkway and the main access road.

The company emphasized that no workers or members of the public were injured. However, several motorcycles parked near a lift entrance sustained damage from the wet cement splash. TRC Synergy stated that traffic controllers were immediately deployed to secure the area and ensure safe traffic flow. The affected zone was temporarily closed for cleaning.

Security teams have contacted the owners of the damaged motorcycles to record the damage and arrange for cleaning and repairs. The construction project at Block 6 has been temporarily suspended while equipment is inspected and procedures are thoroughly reviewed. TRC Synergy assured that this was the first such incident at their site and that additional safety measures would be implemented to prevent recurrence. The company sincerely apologized for the inconvenience caused.
