Albania's rapid tourism growth is increasingly entangled with organized crime and large-scale money laundering. Protests, known as the "flamingo revolution," have erupted over environmental degradation and broadened into a powerful demonstration against the systemic corruption of Prime Minister Edi Rama's government.

Investors include the family of Donald Trump, specifically Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, alongside Qatari financiers. He noted that while the publication theoretically promotes Albania as a wonderful country, it also reveals financial figures far exceeding Albania's state budget. Kucharski stated that investigations by PAC indicate these funds originate from money laundering in drug trafficking.

Therefore, where these amounts come from, it is natural, and investigations from PAC also show this, that it is simply money laundering from drug trafficking.

Meanwhile, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, U.S. influence is significantly impacting the country's energy sovereignty and tender processes. While the European Union promotes renewable energy, the U.S. State Department is aggressively pushing for costly LNG gas infrastructure. Washington dictates economic terms, often favoring companies linked to American political elites. Simultaneously, Bosnian Serb leaders are leveraging these connections to Donald Trump's circle to lobby for paralyzing the new High Representative's actions and gain greater autonomy.

Kucharski criticized the uncompromising nature of U.S. actions, observing that Bosnia is compelled by Americans to accept a company belonging to Donald Trump's former lawyer and the brother of his former national security advisor, despite EU tender and competition regulations. He added that Americans have shown an inability to compromise in recent months, expecting their decisions to be simply accepted and imposed.
