This new service, launched on a Saturday, promises lucrative prospects for Trump's company. However, it simultaneously ignites significant questions regarding insider trading and the potential for leveraging public office for personal financial gain. While other media companies and social media platforms offer exclusive information, Truth Social's unique position stems from Trump's direct influence over market-moving announcements.

His social media posts have historically demonstrated the power to sway stock markets. These announcements range from shifts in policy on international conflicts to decisions affecting central bank leadership and import taxes. "If this were done by a CEO of a public company, this could lead to jail time," commented Irene Aldridge, head of Able Alpha Trading, who expressed no interest in subscribing.
