Two Arrested for Drunk Electric Scooter Driving in Zakynthos Tourist Area

Police in the tourist hotspot of Laganas, Zakynthos, have arrested two young foreign nationals for operating electric scooters under the influence of alcohol. The individuals, aged 18 and 20, were apprehended during routine traffic enforcement operations in the area, which experiences a significant increase in activity during the summer season.

The arrests highlight ongoing efforts by traffic police to ensure safety on the island's roads, particularly concerning the growing use of electric scooters.
