Two bound bodies found on dirt road in Guanajuato

A man and a woman were discovered dead with their hands bound on a dirt road leading to the Mirasierra neighborhood in León, Guanajuato. The bodies, appearing to be around 20 years old, were found by passersby on Monday afternoon. Residents alerted authorities through the 911 emergency system, reporting that two individuals had been discarded on public property. Preliminary information suggests the victims had cable ties around their hands and sustained injuries to their necks and other body parts. Paramedics confirmed both individuals showed no vital signs. The victims were reportedly left at the scene around 12:30 p.m. No ballistic witnesses were found. Police and the National Guard secured the scene while the prosecutor's office began its investigation and collected the bodies for transfer to the Forensic Medical Service.
