Two killed and 20 injured, including children, in Russian attacks on Kherson region

Two people were killed and 20 others, including two children, were injured in Russian attacks across Kherson region over the past day, according to the regional military administration.

Russian forces struck settlements using aircraft, drones and artillery. The attacks hit critical, transport and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. Four multi-storey buildings and seven houses were damaged, along with an office building, a mobile phone mast, an outbuilding and a gas pipe.

At 07:10 on Sunday, a Russian drone attacked Kherson's Korabelnyi district. A 59-year-old man walking along the street suffered shrapnel wounds to his leg, concussion, a blast injury and a closed head injury. Medics took him to hospital, where he remained in moderate condition.
