Thirteen individuals required hospitalization after being injured in two distinct road accidents that occurred on August 23 in Kyrgyzstan's Boom Gorge and Naryn region. The incidents involved multiple vehicles and resulted in significant injuries for some of the passengers.

The first accident took place in Boom Gorge. According to police reports, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter attempted to evade a collision with an Audi that had suddenly entered the oncoming lane. In the process, the Sprinter collided with a Hyundai Sonata. Nine individuals who sustained injuries in this crash were transported to Balykchy City Hospital for treatment.

Later the same day, another collision occurred on the Sary-Bulak, Kochkor road in Naryn region. A Lexus vehicle collided with a truck. Eyewitnesses reported that the Lexus was traveling from Naryn, while the truck was moving in the opposite direction. The driver of the Lexus and three passengers were taken to the hospital. One person suffered moderate injuries, while the other three were reported to have sustained mild injuries.

The second accident caused a significant traffic disruption, as the truck's trailer blocked the road for approximately two hours. Drivers and passengers of other vehicles stranded by the jam assisted in towing the trailer away, eventually clearing the obstruction.
