Tragedy struck Thang Dien commune when a devastating car fire at a local gas station claimed the lives of two young individuals, D.A.K. (16) and T.H.T. (17). The incident, which occurred on May 1st, has sent shockwaves through the community, with local leaders offering condolences and financial support to the grieving families.

The victims were reportedly being transported in a car that was carrying a significant quantity of batteries for children's electric toys. Initial investigations suggest that the explosion originated from the car's trunk, which was laden with approximately 20-25 blocks of 24V batteries and nine fully charged electric toy car batteries. This hazardous cargo is believed to be the primary factor contributing to the rapid and intense fire that engulfed the vehicle.
