UAE Intercepts Two Iranian Drones

The United Arab Emirates has once again demonstrated its robust air defense capabilities by intercepting two drones launched from Iran. The Ministry of Defense confirmed the successful engagement on May 10, assuring the public that no lives were lost or injuries sustained during these specific incidents. This latest interception adds to a significant tally of threats neutralized by the UAE's advanced systems. Since the commencement of what the ministry terms "blatant Iranian attacks," the UAE has intercepted a staggering number of projectiles, including 551 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,265 drones. Tragically, these ongoing hostilities have resulted in a cumulative death toll of 12, comprising Emirati citizens and foreign nationals, alongside 230 injuries across various nationalities.
