UBSI and Klaten Government Strengthen Education Access Through Scholarship Program

Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), a digital creative campus, has partnered with the Klaten Regency government to enhance educational access through a regional scholarship program. The collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) during the Klaten Lurik Festival 2026, an event celebrating the 222nd anniversary of Klaten Regency.

The signing ceremony, held at Alun-Alun Klaten, was attended by UBSI's Vice Rector II for Non-Academic Affairs, Adi Supriyatna, and the Regent of Klaten, Mas Hamenang Wajar Ismoyo, along with other government officials and invited guests. The festival itself was a vibrant affair, featuring a lurik fashion parade and drawing thousands of residents.

Adi Supriyatna highlighted UBSI's commitment to improving human resource quality through education. "We are grateful to the Klaten Regency government for the trust placed in UBSI," he stated. "This Regional Scholarship Program is a concrete step to broaden access to higher education for Klaten's youth. We hope this collaboration will produce competent, competitive graduates who can contribute to regional development."
