UBSI Students and Faculty Garner National and International Accolades

Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI), a creative digital university, has showcased its strength by producing a wide array of national and international achievements from its students and faculty during 2025 and 2026. These accomplishments span diverse fields, including academics, sports, research, and technological innovation.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Wahyudi emphasized that these successes are a testament to UBSI's educational ecosystem, which effectively encourages competitive growth among its students and faculty. "The achievements of UBSI students and faculty demonstrate a strong spirit of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the campus environment. We are proud that they have been able to carry the UBSI name nationally and internationally," Prof. Wahyudi stated.

In international academics, five UBSI students participated in the International Student Mobility Program at the University of Northern Philippines. Software Engineering student Adam Maulana secured an international internship at VIBIA Lighting Ltd. in Barcelona, Spain, while Information Systems student Muhammad Raulfie Al Adzani interned in Marseille, France. Furthermore, Informatics student Desiana Nuranudin Putri received the Best Argumentation Award at the 2026 Garuda Essay Competition for her work in Artificial Intelligence, and 22 students were selected as Google Student Ambassadors for 2026.

The achievements of UBSI students and faculty demonstrate a strong spirit of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the campus environment. We are proud that they have been able to carry the UBSI name nationally and internationally.

UBSI students also excelled in sports, earning medals in Kurash, Judo, Pencak Silat, Karate, Taekwondo, and Cheerleading. Notably, a UBSI student won a gold medal at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand for Judo (-55 kg). The UBSI Student Choir secured second place in the Folklore category at the 2025 Jakarta International Choral Festival. In digital innovation, the student team Duo Clingy won third place in the 2026 Techsoft Web Competition for their Donoraja application.

Among faculty, 42 lecturers received community service grants, and 14 received research grants from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. UBSI faculty also secured funding for the 2026 Saintek BESTARI Program from LPDP and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.
