Hasan, an Indonesian-American mixed martial artist, secured his UFC contract following a dominant performance in Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) Season 10. He faced India's Mridul Saikia and emerged victorious via technical knockout (TKO) in a mere 45 seconds. This swift victory caught White's attention, who praised Hasan's aggressive and convincing performance.

White highlighted Hasan's significant impact during the DWCS, noting that he not only met but exceeded expectations. Describing Hasan as one of the biggest favorites in the Contender Series' 10-year history, White acknowledged the pressure the fighter faced and commended his dominant display.
