Ukraine Claims Electronic Warfare System Neutralizes Russian Kinzhal Missiles

Kyiv Independent reports a significant Ukrainian breakthrough in countering Russia's formidable Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. While Western nations rely on advanced air defense systems like Patriot, Ukraine appears to have found a more cost-effective solution through electronic warfare.

The 'Night Watch' unit, led by a commander known as 'Alkhimyk,' has developed a system called 'Lima.' This system reportedly disrupts the satellite navigation of Kinzhal missiles, causing them to deviate from their targets. Alkhimyk claims an astonishing success rate, with only one out of 59 Kinzhals hitting its mark when the 'Lima' system was engaged. This suggests a potential vulnerability in Russia's most feared aerial weapon.
