Ukrainian drones strike Russian oil refinery and Wildberries warehouse

Ukraine has intensified its drone attacks on Russian territory, targeting key infrastructure. On Sunday, a drone assault struck a Rosneft oil refinery in Saratov, igniting a fire. This facility, one of Russia's oldest, processed 4.8 million tons of oil in 2023 and has been a frequent target since the full-scale invasion began.

The same night, a drone attack hit a Wildberries logistics warehouse in the Samara region. The 130,000-square-meter complex, a major e-commerce hub, was reportedly opened in May 2025. The Engels airbase in the Saratov region, a base for Russia's strategic bomber fleet, was also reportedly attacked.

These strikes follow Ukraine's confirmation on Saturday that it had sunk the sanctioned Russian container ship "Yanina," owned by a Fesco company linked to Rosatom. Additionally, infrastructure at three oil refineries in Bashkortostan was damaged. The ongoing attacks highlight Ukraine's strategy to disrupt Russia's energy sector and military logistics.
