Untold Festival Eyes Global Expansion, Generates 100 Million Euros for Romanian City

Romania's renowned Untold Festival is charting a course for global dominance, building on its success in Cluj-Napoca and a recent expansion into Dubai. Organizers have announced ambitious plans to replicate the festival's model in Latin America and Japan, signaling a significant step towards becoming a worldwide brand.

Edy Chereji, the festival's manager, highlighted that the upcoming edition marks a new chapter, transitioning Untold from a national champion to a global contender. The festival's economic impact is substantial, reportedly generating 100 million euros for its host city in just four days, with state taxes exceeding 40% of ticket prices.

Innovations for this year include a dynamic Main Stage designed to transform daily with unique stagecraft and scenography, extending into the stadium's tribunes. A new secondary stage will be situated in the middle of the stadium, hosting special artistic moments. Additionally, a mobile caravan in partnership with Fundația Renașterea will offer free HPV tests and breast cancer screenings, prioritizing health alongside entertainment.
