Uruguay's Interior Ministry Seeks Consultant for $22,000 Project

The Uruguayan Ministry of Interior is seeking a consultant to evaluate the Integral Citizen Security Program II. The position offers a total remuneration of US$22,000 plus VAT for a three-month contract.

The consultant will work on assessing the program's progress, systematizing information, and providing key insights for strategic decision-making. While the work will be primarily remote, the selected individual must attend mandatory in-person meetings and potentially conduct field visits, including to correctional facilities.

Key responsibilities include measuring the program's impact and effectiveness between November 2023 and November 2026. This involves presenting a detailed evaluation plan, designing quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, analyzing program documentation, conducting interviews, and evaluating impact indicators to suggest adjustments. The consultant will also be responsible for preparing initial, preliminary, and final evaluation reports.
