Vandalism: Concrete slabs placed on tracks, freight train runs them over near Rostock

A shocking act of vandalism has occurred near Rostock, where unidentified individuals deliberately placed heavy concrete slabs onto railway tracks, posing a severe risk to rail traffic. The incident, which involved a freight train traveling from Seddin towards Rostock-Überseehafen, resulted in the train running over approximately 26 cover plates that had been removed from a parallel cable shaft.

Fortunately, the quick thinking of the train driver and the robust construction of the train prevented a potential disaster.
