Venezuela Expands Yellow Fever Vaccination Plan to Ten States

The Venezuelan government, through its health authorities, has taken a decisive step to broaden the yellow fever vaccination program, extending its reach to a total of ten states. This proactive measure, announced by acting president Delcy Rodríguez and detailed by Health Minister Carlos Alvarado, underscores the administration's commitment to public health and disease prevention.

The expansion to include Guárico, Monagas, Sucre, Apure, Yaracuy, and Cojedes, in addition to the initial four states, demonstrates a strategic effort to safeguard a larger segment of the population.
