Vietnam Defense Ministry officials awarded 35-year Party membership badges

Hanoi – Five deputy ministers of defense were honored with the 35-year Party membership badge in a ceremony held on August 25. The event, organized by the Party Committee of the Ministry of National Defense, saw Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang present the prestigious badges to distinguished members.

Các lãnh đạo, cán bộ được trao tặng huy hiệu Đảng dịp này đều là những đảng viên ưu tú, cán bộ xuất sắc của Đảng, của quân đội; được đào tạo cơ bản, trưởng thành qua thực tiễn công tác, đảm nhiệm nhiều cương vị lãnh đạo, chỉ huy tại các cơ quan, đơn vị.

Among the recipients were Lieutenant Generals Pham Hoai Nam, Nguyen Truong Thang, Nguyen Van Hien, Nguyen Quang Ngoc, and Nguyen Van Gau. Major General Le Van Thuan, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of National Defense, also received the honor. General Giang lauded the recipients as exemplary Party and military cadres, emphasizing their thorough training and extensive experience in leadership roles.

Các thứ trưởng đã cùng tập thể Quân ủy T.Ư, lãnh đạo Bộ Quốc phòng đoàn kết, thống nhất trong lãnh đạo, chỉ đạo, quản lý, chỉ huy; góp phần xây dựng Quân đội nhân dân Việt Nam cách mạng, chính quy, tinh nhuệ, hiện đại; xây dựng Đảng bộ Quân đội vững mạnh về chính trị, tư tưởng, tổ chức, đạo đức và cán bộ.

Minister Giang highlighted the collective efforts of the recipients within the Central Military Party Committee and the Ministry of National Defense. He credited their unified leadership and management for contributing to the revolutionary, regular, professional, and modern development of the Vietnam People's Army. Their strategic advice to the Party and State on military, defense, and international integration matters was also acknowledged.

Đại tướng Phan Văn Giang đánh giá, ông được đào tạo cơ bản, trưởng thành từ thực tiễn công tác; luôn tận tụy với công việc, giữ vững phẩm chất, chuẩn mực của người đảng viên, cán bộ quân đội và người làm công tác văn phòng; hoàn thành tốt nhiệm vụ được giao.

Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam expressed his honor and pride in receiving the badge, particularly coinciding with the anniversaries of the August Revolution and National Day. He pledged to continue dedicating his efforts and intellect to the Party's revolutionary cause and uphold the moral qualities of a "Uncle Ho Soldier," fulfilling his duties diligently.
