Want to Join the Police? Find Out Early Whether You Are Ready for the Physical Test

People preparing to enter a Romanian police officers’ school can test the demanding physical course before the next admission session is announced. Dolj County Police will organize practical-course testing every Sunday in September in Craiova.

The sessions will begin at 2 p.m. in the sports hall of Nicolae Titulescu National College. They are open to anyone interested, including candidates from outside Dolj County. If too many people attend, those who cannot complete the course that day will be scheduled for the following Sunday in the order they arrived.

The physical test remains one of the major hurdles in the admission process. The applicants’ performance on the course can eliminate them from the competition, or give them an advantage if they achieve strong results. The sessions are intended to let candidates measure their time, see which elements require more work and receive guidance from police officers involved in their preparation.

Dolj County Police said the meetings should be more than ordinary training. They offer future applicants a chance to become familiar with the test requirements, assess their preparation and learn what they can improve to increase their admission prospects. The activity also aims to promote a career in the police force. Any changes to the schedule will be posted on the inspectorate’s official Facebook page.
