Warriors GM Confident Stephen Curry Will Stay

Golden State Warriors General Manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. has addressed speculation surrounding the future of star player Stephen Curry. Amidst rumors fueled by LeBron James's move to the Philadelphia 76ers, Dunleavy Jr. reassured fans that Curry has no intention of leaving the franchise.

In an interview with ESPN, Dunleavy Jr. stated, "He hasn't said anything different. His message has always been the same. It's always been what he's told us. I think he's on the right track." The GM emphasized that Curry's commitment to the Warriors remains unwavering, countering any suggestions of a potential departure.

Dunleavy Jr. acknowledged that ultimately, any decision rests with Curry himself. "If he comes to me and says he wants to leave, that's something I'll have to discuss with Joe (Lacob, the team owner)," he said. "We wouldn't want that to happen, but he's earned the right to do so." However, Dunleavy Jr. stressed that the team is not entertaining any rumors linking Curry to other teams, nor is Curry himself considering such a move.
