WATCH: IDF, Border Police investigate dozens of east Jerusalem terror suspects, confiscate weapons

In a significant counterterrorism operation spanning east Jerusalem over the past 24 hours, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Border Police have arrested six terror suspects and seized a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition. The operation targeted areas including A-Ram, Kafr Akab, and Kalandiya, where approximately 100 structures were searched.

During the intensive sweep, soldiers and police investigated over 40 individuals suspected of involvement in terror activities, incitement, and weapons possession. The six individuals arrested are now undergoing questioning by the police. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks operating in the region.

The confiscated items represent a serious threat, including pistols, M16 and M4 rifles, improvised pipe bombs, and various weapons parts and military equipment. In addition to the firearms, Israeli Police reported seizing over 2,100 rounds of ammunition, highlighting the scale of the arms cache discovered.
