WATCH: IDF destroys 30-meter-long Hezbollah tunnel in southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces have successfully neutralized a significant threat along our northern border, dismantling a 30-meter-long Hezbollah tunnel in southern Lebanon. This operation, carried out by the elite Yahalom Unit and the 226th Brigade, not only removed the tunnel itself but also uncovered a substantial cache of weapons and explosives.

Dozens of explosive devices and anti-tank missiles were found within the tunnel, underscoring the immediate danger it posed. Furthermore, searches in the vicinity revealed approximately three tons of explosive material, 43 Claymore explosive devices, mines, and Kornet missiles. This discovery highlights Hezbollah's continued efforts to arm itself against Israel.

This action is part of a broader ongoing effort. Over the past 24 hours, IDF soldiers have targeted roughly 15 Hezbollah infrastructure sites, including military structures and surveillance equipment. These operations are crucial for maintaining the security of our citizens and disrupting terrorist activities emanating from Lebanon.
