‘We just want to hold you again,’ says mom of missing girl in Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan police are intensifying their search for 14-year-old Peyton Flett, who has been missing since mid-June. The Prince Albert Police Service issued a renewed plea for public assistance on Wednesday, detailing Flett's last known whereabouts between June 16 and 17. She was reportedly seen in the Marquis Road and Central Avenue area, as well as near John Diefenbaker School.

Our priority is to find Peyton and to bring her home to her family.

Flett is described as five feet three inches tall, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, black fanny pack, and blue Christmas pyjama pants. Police have stated that finding Peyton and bringing her home to her family is their top priority.

The family has been actively searching for Flett since she was reported missing on June 30, a full two weeks after her last confirmed sighting.

Flett's mother, Danica Moore, made an emotional appeal at the news conference, expressing the family's anguish. "She should be at home with us celebrating her birthday," Moore said, referencing Peyton's upcoming 15th birthday on Aug. 19. "Instead, there’s an empty space where she would sit, and our family is [in a] living nightmare." Moore urged residents to remain vigilant, check surveillance footage, and report any information that could help locate her daughter. "Peyton, if you can hear me, we love you more than life itself. We miss you so much, it hurts to breathe. You are not in any trouble. We just need to hear your voice. We just need to know you are safe," she pleaded. "We just want to hold you again. We want to celebrate you turning 15. Our only wish for her birthday is to have her home safe."
