Weather: Plenty of sun in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia

Residents of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia can expect a continuation of pleasant summer weather, with abundant sunshine and dry conditions forecast for the coming days. The German Weather Service (DWD) anticipates clear skies across all three states.

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to climb to around 25 degrees Celsius in most areas, with Thuringia potentially reaching slightly higher at 27 degrees. Overnight, temperatures will drop significantly, with lows ranging from 5 to 12 degrees Celsius depending on the specific region.

The sunny and dry trend is projected to persist through Thursday. Wednesday is expected to be particularly warm, especially in Thuringia, where temperatures could reach up to 30 degrees Celsius. Nighttime temperatures will remain milder, generally falling to around 9 degrees.

By Thursday, the mercury could climb as high as 32 degrees Celsius in some areas. Even higher elevations, such as the Harz mountains, are forecast to experience highs of up to 29 degrees. Overnight lows on Thursday are expected to range between 11 and 13 degrees Celsius.
