Wedding Fatiha: Gov Aliyu Represents 10 Families, Gives Their Daughters’ Hands in Marriage

In a significant display of community and tradition, Sokoto State Governor Ahmed Aliyu has presided over the wedding Fatiha for ten couples, acting as a representative for the brides' families. This auspicious event, held at the residence of the prominent Sokoto State APC leader, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, underscored the importance of family and societal bonds within the region.

The ceremony saw the union of ten brides with their respective grooms, including notable figures and family members. Dignitaries such as the Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, and the Minister of State for Works, Barrister Bello Goronyo, stood in for grooms, highlighting the caliber of individuals involved and the community's collective support for these new unions.
