West Bandung Regency Launches Inclusive Job Fair to Build Equal Work Ecosystem

The West Bandung Regency government has organized an inclusive job fair, aiming to foster an equal work ecosystem and provide accessible employment opportunities for its residents.

The event, held at the Rongga District Hall, offered participants a chance to connect with 20 domestic companies and 10 overseas placement agencies. This initiative is part of the local government's strategy to combat unemployment in the region.

Regent Jeje Ritchie Ismail emphasized that the job fair serves to bring employment services closer to the community. It provides a platform for job seekers to gain direct information on job types, qualifications, selection processes, and placement locations, ensuring access to legal and secure employment.

The program includes inclusive job vacancy information, consultations, skills matching, initial assessments, and facilitation for reasonable accommodations, ensuring they have equitable opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities.

The initiative underscores the government's commitment to creating a supportive environment for all job seekers, aligning with the concept of prioritizing individuals with disabilities to showcase their potential in the workforce.
