West Java Police Seize Thousands of Liquor Bottles, Bust 195 Drug Cases

Authorities in West Java have intensified their crackdown on crime, successfully uncovering 195 cases related to narcotics and hard drugs and apprehending 223 suspects. The operation, which also targeted street crime, included the destruction of 25,000 bottles of liquor and the confiscation of various illegal items.

During a press conference held at the West Java Regional Police Headquarters, officials showcased the confiscated evidence. This included narcotics, a significant quantity of hard drugs, approximately 2.7 million pills, along with 612 ecstasy pills and 822 psychotropic substances. Non-standard "brong" exhaust pipes, often associated with disruptive behavior, were also destroyed, alongside numerous stolen motorcycles that were presented as evidence.

The West Java Provincial Government emphasized its commitment to enhancing coordination with law enforcement agencies to curb crime rates and organized criminal activities. Governor Dedi Mulyadi was present to inspect the seized narcotics and illegal drugs, underscoring the government's focus on addressing these issues. The comprehensive operation reflects a multi-pronged approach to improving public safety and order within the region.
