Wisenut Reports 8.2% Revenue Increase in First Half, Driven by AI Agent Growth

AI agent specialist Wisenut has announced a significant increase in its first-half revenue, reaching 14.65 billion won, an 8.2% rise compared to the same period last year. The company also reported a substantial reduction in its financial losses, with operating losses decreasing by 50.3% and net losses by 74.3% year-on-year. This improved financial performance was largely driven by the company's core AI agent business. Revenue from this sector alone soared by an impressive 539.0%, reaching 6.15 billion won in the first half of the year. The AI agent business now accounts for 42.0% of Wisenut's total revenue, a significant jump from 7.1% in the previous year's first half. The company attributes this rapid growth to an increase in new AI agent orders and the full-scale transition of existing businesses to generative AI. In the second quarter specifically, Wisenut achieved revenue of 7.43 billion won and turned a net profit of 500 million won, while operating loss narrowed to 165 million won. This indicates a positive trend towards profitability, fueled by the company's strategic focus on AI technologies.
