Worker Dies After Being Crushed by Forklift at South Korean Recycling Plant

Tragedy struck a waste recycling facility in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, where a worker in his 60s lost his life after being crushed by a forklift. The incident, which occurred around 11:50 AM on April 26th, saw the forklift overturn while the worker was operating it. He was reportedly attempting to lift a metal attachment for an excavator at the time of the accident.

Despite being rushed to the hospital in critical condition, the worker succumbed to his injuries. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, but it was too late to save his life. The Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters confirmed the fatality following the incident.
