World Rally Championship Fan Zone opens in Encarnación

Encarnación, Paraguay, is gearing up to host a major event as the Fan Zone for the World Rally Championship (WRC) opens its doors on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Located adjacent to the Service Park, this dedicated area will serve as a hub for rally enthusiasts until Sunday.

The Fan Zone promises an immersive experience, bringing fans closer to the action. Visitors can expect to see the rally machines and meet the drivers. The space will also house official stores, a food park, and activations from sponsoring brands, offering a complete festival atmosphere. The Service Park itself is already buzzing with activity as teams fine-tune their vehicles for the upcoming competition.

Several special events are scheduled throughout the Fan Zone's operation. The opening day will feature a parade of classic cars driven by WRC competitors, followed by a concert from the national band Japiaguar in the evening. The festivities continue with an electronic music party on Friday and a performance by Los Verduleros on Saturday night.

The official competition begins on Friday, following the symbolic start and shakedown events on Thursday. Paraguay is once again hosting a round of the WRC, with Encarnación serving as a key location. The Fan Zone will be open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with tickets priced at G. 30,000, available through the Tuti network. Notably, tickets for the Symbolic Start and Awards Ceremony are already sold out, indicating high demand for the event.
