Zagreb Prepares for Advent: Tender Issued for Prime Festive Locations

Even before the summer season fully kicks off, Zagreb is gearing up for its beloved Advent. The city administration has launched a tender for the allocation of public spaces, a crucial step in organizing the popular winter festivities. This initiative, detailed in the tender closing on May 27, categorizes available locations into three distinct groups, catering to various needs from small stalls to large-scale event organization. While the familiar spots on Ban Jelačić Square, Gajeva, and Bogovićeva street remain, the pricing structure reflects an adjustment from last year. Notably, the prime locations, especially those on the western side of Ban Jelačić Square, are seeing a price hike, with bids for larger event spaces potentially exceeding 8,000 euros.
