Maciej Janowski secured the Polish Individual Speedway Championship title, finishing just one point ahead of pre-race favorite Bartosz Zmarzlik in a dramatic final in Ostrów Wielkopolski. Zmarzlik, a six-time world champion, was unable to defend his national title after a challenging competition.

The final race was marked by significant drama. In an early heat, Zmarzlik's aggressive move from the inside caused a crash involving Patryk Dudek, the defending champion, who had to be taken off the track by ambulance. Zmarzlik was excluded from that heat but went on to win all his subsequent races, including the final.

Despite Zmarzlik's strong performance in the latter stages, Janowski maintained his lead. Janowski secured the necessary second place in the final heat to clinch the gold medal. The competition also saw strong performances from unexpected riders, including Jakub Krawczyk, who started as a reserve and finished third, and 16-year-old Maksymilian Pawełczak, who finished fourth.
