‘ZOMBIES’ Actress Carla Jeffery Dies at 33

Carla Jeffery, the actress who played Bree in Disney Channel’s ZOMBIES films, has died at 33. Her talent agency said she died on Sept. 1, 2026, and asked for privacy for her family and loved ones.

Alexanders Talent Management said Jeffery joined the agency at 12 and had remained part of its family for more than two decades. In a statement shared on her Instagram, the agency wrote that she was “more than a client” and remembered her as family.

Jeffery began acting as a child. Her first screen role came in 2006, when she played the 10-year-old version of Mo’Nique’s character Jazmin in Phat Girlz. She later had a recurring role as Keysha on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm from 2007 to 2009.

She gained wider recognition after joining ZOMBIES as Bree in 2018. She reprised the role in ZOMBIES 2 and ZOMBIES 3, released in 2022, and voiced Bree in Zombies: The Re-Animated Series in 2024.

Her former castmates shared tributes after news of her death. Milo Manheim called her “the sweetest person I have ever met” and added, “I love you.” Freya Skye described her as “a wonderful, bright, joyous human” and wrote, “Rest easy Carla.”
