11 Suspects Arrested in Hidalgo Operations, Weapons and Drugs Seized

Hidalgo authorities have apprehended 11 individuals suspected of criminal activities across two separate operations in the municipalities of Tolcayuca and Tecozautla. Six of the detainees in Tecozautla are specifically identified as perpetrators of violence in the region.

Six men, nine firearms, cartridges, vehicles with a theft report, and 120 ponchallantas were seized.

The operation in Tecozautla, conducted by inter-institutional forces including federal and state security, resulted in the seizure of six men, nine firearms, ammunition, stolen vehicles, and 120 "ponchallantas" (tire-deflating devices). Authorities reported finding two pickup trucks with active theft reports, along with six long firearms, three short firearms, 22 magazines, 446 rounds of ammunition, two ballistic vests, four ballistic plates, and five cell phones. Additionally, 447 doses of suspected marijuana and 127 doses of "crystal" (a synthetic drug) were confiscated.

In a coordinated effort involving the National Guard, Army, and the Hidalgo State Attorney General's Office, two properties in Tolcayuca identified as suspected drug விற்பனை points were raided. Five individuals, including one minor, were arrested in connection with these activities.
