2027: Renewed Hope Youth Movement predicts Tinubu landslide victory in Plateau

The Renewed Hope Youth Engagement has confidently predicted a landslide victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Plateau State during the 2027 presidential election. The group made this declaration on Wednesday in Jos during the inauguration of its Plateau State Coordinating Unit, vowing to mobilize young people across the state in support of Tinubu's re-election campaign.

Representing Governor Caleb Mutfwang, his deputy, Mrs. Josephine Piyo, pledged the state administration's support for initiatives aimed at empowering youths and fostering their participation in governance and national development. Mutfwang characterized the youth engagement platform as a credible initiative for cultivating leadership development, civic responsibility, and constructive engagement among young Nigerians. He emphasized that the inauguration signified a commitment to recognizing youth as vital partners in nation-building.

Wilson Manji, the Plateau State Coordinator for the Renewed Hope Youth Engagement, expressed strong confidence that President Tinubu would garner overwhelming support from the state's voters in 2027. "You know what happened in 2023, but 2027 is going to be different. We are going to play a very significant role as we move ahead. Plateau people will deliver the desired votes for President Tinubu," Manji stated. He urged youths to embrace the Renewed Hope Agenda and actively engage in programs focused on development, peace, and good governance.

Hon. Ernest Abner Da’a, Plateau State Renewed Hope Ambassador and Coordinator, defended the economic reforms implemented by the Tinubu administration, including the removal of fuel subsidies and foreign exchange reforms. While acknowledging initial challenges, Da’a argued that these policies have boosted government revenues and facilitated increased investment in infrastructure and other key sectors. He cited ongoing road projects, such as the Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe highway reconstruction, as evidence of the Federal Government's commitment to enhancing transportation, security, and economic growth. Da’a encouraged members of various support groups to maintain unity ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing a singular mission and message for the party.
