The criticism, articulated by Special Adviser on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga, accuses Obi of disseminating falsehoods and persisting in his rejection of the 2023 presidential election outcome.

Onanuga contrasted this with Obi's alleged pattern of switching parties, including moves from APGA to PDP, then to the Labour Party, and subsequent alignments, primarily to pursue personal ambitions.
