Aceh Besar teachers support new People's School in Nagan Raya

A contingent of 36 teachers and educational staff from SRMA 1 Aceh Besar has been deployed to provide operational support and mentorship at SRT 1 Nagan Raya. This collaborative initiative, running from August 4 to August 14, 2026, is designed to bolster the educational ecosystem within the 'Sekolah Rakyat' (People's School) network.

Ilza Satriadi, head of SRMA 1 Aceh Besar, emphasized that the team's presence extends beyond administrative assistance. It serves as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices in running the People's Schools. "Sekolah Rakyat does not belong to one school or one region. We are building an educational ecosystem that requires collaboration, sharing of experiences, and mutual strengthening," Satriadi stated.

To ensure optimal operations without disrupting their home institution, the visiting team was divided into two groups. The first group worked from August 4-9, and the second from August 9-14. Each team comprises 18 individuals, including teachers, homeroom advisors, dormitory supervisors, school operators, and administrative staff.

SRT 1 Nagan Raya, a permanent People's School, officially commenced operations on July 31, 2026. Located in the Suka Makmur complex, it caters to 330 students across three levels: Elementary (SRD), Junior High (SRMP), and Senior High (SRMA). The school has 270 students from Nagan Raya and 60 students transferred from SRT 10 Aceh Selatan. The visiting team is actively assisting with administrative tasks, including scheduling the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS), class assignments, and other operational procedures. They are also sharing expertise in dormitory management, student guidance, and character development, helping to establish a structured, safe, and comfortable living environment.
