Renowned Greek actor Tassos Chalkias is devastated after a destructive fire consumed his home and a significant portion of the coastal town of Porto Germeno. Chalkias described the loss of his home, built over years of hard work, as a "ridiculous" and unbearable reality.

Chalkias, who has lived in Porto Germeno for 54 years, shared his profound connection to the area where his children were born and raised. The fire has devastated the local community, with his friends Grigoris and Michalis also losing their homes. In total, more than 200 private homes, several small hotels, and businesses were destroyed.
