Anping Model Father Wu Huang-jin Honored for Passing Down Virtuous Family Traditions

Wu Huang-jin, a respected Anping District resident, has been recognized as a model father for his commitment to public service and the cultivation of a strong family legacy. The Anping District Office honored him ahead of Father's Day, celebrating his contributions to the community and his role as a patriarch.

Born in 1948, Wu has lived by principles of diligence, integrity, and honesty. He married Wu Cai Qiu-mei, and together they raised seven children, instilling in them the importance of moral education and personal responsibility. Their children have all established their own families, creating a harmonious four-generation household.

In his business career, Wu was involved in the toy manufacturing and export industry. In 1996, when many Taiwanese industries faced the trend of moving overseas, Wu chose to remain rooted in Taiwan. Although the business eventually closed, he provided generous severance packages to his employees, showcasing his deep sense of loyalty and compassion. Since retiring, Wu has dedicated himself to studying Buddhist teachings, maintaining a humble and helpful demeanor, and actively participating in community welfare activities, earning him widespread respect from his neighbors.
