In a candid conversation with Utusan Malaysia, popular Malaysian singer Ariff Bahran addressed recent online speculation surrounding his desire to marry a second wife, clarifying that such statements were purely lighthearted banter with his wife, Amirah Syazwani Ridzuan. The 29-year-old artist emphasized that the remarks, which gained traction on social media platforms, were not indicative of any serious intentions.

Bahran revealed that he is currently navigating a challenging period, having recently fallen victim to a significant scam involving a concert promoter that cost him nearly half a million ringgit. This financial setback, coupled with other ongoing trials, makes the idea of expanding his family through polygamy a distant and impractical thought. "It's just a husband-and-wife joke," he stated, adding, "If there's a blessing, why not?" – a remark delivered with a characteristic playful tone.

His wife, Amirah, who has been married to Bahran for five years, understands his sense of humor and often responds with a playful warning, "Go ahead then." Bahran, however, insists on his fidelity, attributing his current business success largely to his wife's support. "I am a loyal person, God willing," he affirmed, highlighting the strong foundation of their relationship.
