A disturbing video circulating online has prompted an investigation by Vietnamese traffic police into a severe case of road rage on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway. The footage clearly depicts a driver in a Hanoi-registered car aggressively maneuvering to cut off and then block another vehicle, forcing it into the emergency lane. The incident, which took place on the afternoon of May 7th, occurred on a particularly challenging stretch of the expressway. His aggressive reaction, involving dangerous overtaking and deliberate obstruction, occurred just as the road was about to widen back to four lanes.
