Actress and singer Bella Astillah conveyed immense happiness, relief, and peace after the final appeal court ruled in favor of her fiancé, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who is also the Member of Parliament for Muar. The court upheld his acquittal, a decision that brought significant joy to Bella.

Bella affirmed her unwavering belief in Syed Saddiq's innocence from the outset. "Bella knows Saddiq is not guilty. Thank you," she told reporters gathered at the Palace of Justice. She described her fiancé as a person of excellent character, emphasizing that his integrity was never in doubt for her.

When asked about what attracted her to Syed Saddiq, Bella pointed to his personality and the kind manner in which he treated her parents and family members. She considers a person's attitude towards elders and family as a crucial aspect when getting to know them. "I saw his character. Most importantly, I saw how he treated elders and family, that's the most important thing," she stated.
